PURPOSE:To obtain an engine for a vessel with excellent propulsive efficiency by means of a simple construction by providing plural steam generators in the vessel and jetting steam from injection nozzles so as to control it. CONSTITUTION:Plural steam generators 2 are fixed in parallel on a bottom plate 1, and fuel supplied from fuel feeding ports 4 is burnt in combustion chambers 5. The water in steam generating chambers 6 is boiled by this combustion heat so as to generate much steam. Then the steam passes through electromagnetic valve through holes 10 and is jetted from injection nozzles 11 so as to obtain driving force. If the electromagnetic valve through holes 10 are switched on so as to be closed, steam jet from the injection nozzles 11 stops so that the driving force of a vessel is lost. By this composition, an engine for the vessel with excellent propulsive efficiency can be manufactured by means of a simple construction of only the steam generators and the injection nozzles.
