PURPOSE:To automatically extend frame lines and ruled lines by performing a specific input operation if characters or number cannot be entered in preliminarily generated frame and rules lines. CONSTITUTION:A cursor is moved on the picture of a display device 2 in accordance with the input operation from an input device 1, and ruled lines are used to generate the frame of a table on the picture and data of characters and numbers from the input device 1 is inputted in the generated frame of the table. If characters or numbers are inputted beyond an area partitioned with frame lines or ruled lines in the frame on the way of data input, frame lines or ruled lines are extended in accordance with the final position of the cursor by the operation of a specific key of the input device 1. Thus, anybody can easily change the frame of the table by the specific operation if input data cannot be entered in the preliminarily generated frame of the table, and tabulation is easily performed in a short period. |
