PURPOSE:To make it possible to provide an airtight outer tube sealing member and to arrange a luminous tube at a proper position by hanging and holding an outer tube mount inserted in the outer tube with a hanging wire making to mount and dismount freely when the outer tube is sealing processed. CONSTITUTION:An outer tube mount 3 is connected by a hanging wire 10 making to mount and dismount freely, and after the outer tube mount 3 is hanged and held in an outer tube bulb by inserting an exhaust pipe 2 which is connected to one end of the outer tube bulb 1 and fixing it, the end of an aperture 1a of the outer tube bulb 1 is heated and smashed to be sealed. Then, after the hanging wire 10 is removed from the connection with the outer tube mount 3, the air is exhausted through the exhaust pipe 2, an inert gas is enclosed if necessary, and the exhaust pipe 2 is sealed and cut off. Since the outer tube mount 3 is hanged and held by the hanging wire 10 in such a way, no load is imposed to metallic foils 8A and 8B whose strength is low, no diformation is produced in the metallic foils 8A and 8B accordingly, and the airtight outer tube sealing member and the positioning of the luminous tube 5 to the proper position can be realized.
