摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to smoothly mesh two superposed gear with another gear by making the tooth thickness of one of the superposed two gears smaller than that of the other gear. CONSTITUTION:The tooth thickness l4 of a second gear 2 is made smaller than that of the tooth thickness l5 of a first gear by an estimated slip l2. Therefore, even though a slip occurs between the first and second gears 1, 2 during manufacture and assembly thereof, the tooth groove width defined by the teeth of both superposed gears 1, 2 may be equal to an inherently obtained tooth groove width l3 since the tooth thickness l4 of the second gear 2 is made beforehand to be smaller than that of the first gear 1 by the value l2 corresponding to the slip. That is, a backlash required for meshing may be obtained so that the both gears 1, 2 may smoothly mesh with a small diameter gear 5. Accordingly, the frictional resistance which has been conventionally effected between the first and second gears 1, 2 and the small diameter gear 5 is eliminate, and therefore no reasonable force is produced between the gears, thereby it is possible to eliminate the problem of damages to the gears.</p>
