PURPOSE:To increase a height of a lower surface position of a transmission case and to restrict a reduction in a ground clearance, by disposing a gear transmission mechanism between an input shaft to an engine and a drive pinion shaft in a differential gear mechanism in parallel with them. CONSTITUTION:A mission case accommodates an input shaft to which motive power from an engine 1 and a main clutch 2 is transmitted through a transmission shaft 9 an external motive power taking-out shaft 11 to which motive power from the input shaft 10 is transmitted after its speed has been changed and an output shaft 13 to which a drive shaft 12 to front wheels are connected. In the case, the gear transmission mechanism for traveling 15 comprises a main transmission device 15a for speed-changing motive power from the input shaft to transmit it to a second shaft 18 and an auxiliary transmission device 15b for speed-changing motive power from the second shaft 18 to transmit it to a drive pinion shaft 19a of a differential gear device 19 for rear wheels. The drive pinion shaft 19a has a front end exposed to a front surface of the transmission case 3 to be set to the output shaft 13.
