PURPOSE:To obtain a vibration-damping material, having vibration damping performance over a wide frequency range within a temperature region below ordinary temperature and capable of exhibiting a high adhesive strength in press molding, by reacting and linking chain terminals of a specific polymer to a binder of specific segments. CONSTITUTION:The titled resin, obtained by reacting and alternately linking (A) chain terminals of a polymer having -80-+10 deg.C glass transition temperature and 900-30,000 molecular weight (e.g. a polyester prepared from a dicarboxylic acid component which is an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid and a glycol component which is an aliphatic glycol) to (B) a binder (e.g. 2,4-tolylene diisocyanate) and (C) a chain extender (e.g. glycols) and having 8,000-100,000 number-average molecular weight. The linking parts of the resin are reacted and linked to the above-mentioned binder of segments having polar groups capable of hydrogen bonding. |
