发明名称 FUEL INJECTION CONTROL METHOD FOR DIESEL ENGINE
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent cooling of glow plug due to excessive fuel and to shorten time being passed before initial combustion by reducing the quantity of fuel being injected during an interval after start of engine until detection of ignition when an engine is starting with low temperature compared with the quantity of fuel being injected after ignition is detected. CONSTITUTION:An ignition sensor 38 is arranged on a cylinder head 10A of Diesel engine 10, together with an injection nozzle 34 and a glow plug 36, with the tip thereof facing with a combustion chamber 10B. A detection signal from the ignition sensor 38 is inputted. together with detection signals from various sensors 12, 20, 32, 40, 44, 46 for detecting operational conditions of engine, to an electronic control unit 56. On the other hand, control signals are outputted from the electronic control unit 56 to a timing control valve 48 of an injection pump 42, a solenoid spill valve 70, a fuel cut valve 52, etc. Here, quantity of fuel being injected during an interval after start of engine until detection of ignition is reduced when the engine 10 is starting with low temperature compared with the quantity of fuel being injected after detection of ignition.
