PURPOSE:To facilitate the clip insertion work by setting the width dimension of a stay smaller than that of an engine piece, in the constitution in which the engaging piece inserted into the basis part of a weather strip is formed on one edge side of a stay and an anchor part is formed on the other edge side. CONSTITUTION:As for an offset type clip 1 which is used in the fixation of a weather strip 5 onto a chassis panel, an engaging piece 3 having a nearly T-figure for is projectingly installed onto one edge surface side of a flat plate- shaped stay 12 made of resin, and an anchor part 4 is projectingly installed onto the back surface side at the edge of the stay 12. The engaging piece 3 is inserted into an insertion hole 7 from the opened port part 6 on the basic part of the weather strip 5, and the weather strip 5 is fixed onto a chassis panel side by press-inserting the anchor part 4 into an installation hole on the chassis panel side. In this case, the lateral width dimension (a) of the stay 12 is set smaller than the max. lateral width dimension (b) of the engaging piece 3, and the smooth insertion of the clip 1 into the weather strip 5 is permitted. |
