PURPOSE:To rationalize services by providing a file controller with a PLU memory used by the register scale at each counter, memories by commodity dealing information,a memory for information by customers, and memories by the scales, and totalizing commodity dealings by counters. CONSTITUTION:The numbers of commodities weighed on the pans 2 of register scales 1 at respective counters, a customer number, scale numbers, and cashier numbers are inputted from operation parts 5 and displayed 4. The file controller 6 connected to the respective register scales 1 reads commodity numbers and unit prices out of the PLU memory 10 to store commodity dealing information and shop-side cashier numbers in the commodity dealing memory 11, the customer number in the customer memory 12, and counter numbers in the scale memory 13. When a request for reckoning is made at the register scale 1 where the final commodity is purchased, a computer 8 totalizes the amount of money and prints out the details to issue a receipt by 3. The file controller 6 totalizes and stores the commodity dealing information by the register scales 3. Consequently, stock control and buying operation are rationalized. |
