PURPOSE:To obtain a stable floating force and to evade any abnormal access and contact by recessing a contact surface with a load projection of a gimbal member of a beam member for load by the size as equivalent to the load projection and reducing a height between a surface for fitting the gimbal member and the center position of gravity of a core slider. CONSTITUTION:Since the contact surface 41 of the beam member 4 for load, contacting with the load projection 3 of the gimbal member 2, is formed to be recessed by the size corresponding to the height of the load projection 3, the height dimension l4 of the center position of gravity of the core slider 1 above the gimbal member fitting surface 42 is therefore reduced. Consequently, a moment M generated at the time of transferring the core slider 1 can be minimized, so that the core slider 1 is enabled to obtain the stable floating without inclining against the surface of a magnetic disk 5.
