PURPOSE:To control a cursor so that mutual influence is not exerted upon key entry operation on the terminal equipment side and image data access from a host computer and to efficiently access display data on a CRT screen by specifying the output cursor which is not displayed on a CRT screen in case of accessing the screen from the host computer. CONSTITUTION:A screen control part 6 changes a parameter in a screen display control part, specifies an input cursor 71 when a processing request is outputted from a keyboard 2 on the terminal equipment and specifies the output cursor 72 when the processing request is outputted from the host computer. Namely, the input cursor 71 is used for the processing request from the terminal equipment and uses the output cursor 72 for the processing request from the host computer. Since display data are independently processed by the different cursors in the host computer and the terminal equipment, the display data on the CRT screen can be efficiently accessed.
