PURPOSE:To improve the operation rate avoiding the stoppage of the machine by shifting a leader frame by one pitch in stead of bonding when no pellet is on the lead frame. CONSTITUTION:The tip of a nozzle 14 blows a gas on a pellet 2 on a lead frame 1 from a compressor 16 and the back pressure thereof is automatically detected 17. Depending on a drop in the back pressure of the nozzle, whether the pellet is on the lead frame or not is determined and a control mechanism is driven. When no pellet is on the frame, the frame is shifted to a point where a pellet fixed thereon reaches the bonding position 10. |
