PURPOSE:To selectively decompose the polyorganosiloxane present on the surface of a molded article, by treating the molded article consisting of a multiphase polymer contg. polyorganosiloxane with an aq. soln. of borofluoric acid having a specified concn. CONSTITUTION:The articles of various shapes molded by melt molding such as injection molding and extrusion molding by using a multiphase polymer contg. polyorganosiloxane is dipped and treated in an aq. soln. contg. >=10wt% borofluoric acid at 30-80 deg.C for 5-60min. Consequently, the polyorganosiloxane present on the surface of the molded article is selectively decomposed to form innumerable fine pores on the molded article surface, and the article can be chemically plated as if an ABS resin molded article is chemically plated. |
