PURPOSE:To achieve the miniaturization, weight reduction and cost reduction of an apparatus by dispensing with a temp. standard panel or a temp. controller, by performing the calibration of temp. using a shutter, the thermistor arranged in the vicinity thereof and a resistance measuring circuit. CONSTITUTION:The output of IRCCD (infrared detector) 3 is amplified and subsequently converted to a digital video 18 by an A/D converter 13 to be once stored in a frame memory 14. At the time of the calibration of temp., a shutter 7 is arranged at a broken line position by a motor 8 and the resistance value of the thermistor 9 arranged in the vicinity of the shutter 7 is converted into voltage by a resistor bridge circuit 10 while said voltage is amplified and subjected to A/D conversion to be inputted to a microprocessor 16. The microprocessor 16 reads the video data at an indicated pixel position from the memory 14 and the temp. of the shutter is read by the thermistor 9 to obtain the relation between the quantity of infrared rays emitted from the shutter 7 having atmospheric temp. and the video data. At the time of measurement, the shutter 7 is set at a solid line position and the infrared rays of an object from an image forming lens 1 are inputted to IRCCD 3 and the video data is read in the microprocessor 16 and the temp. of the object is operated and the operation result is displayed.
