PURPOSE:To report the abnormality of a copying machine, the end of copying, or the like to a user, who is away from the copying machine, through a telephone line by calling a telephone whose telephone number is stored in a memory when interruption or end of copying is detected. CONSTITUTION:A memory 3 where the telephone number inputted with ten keys 6 is stored, a state detecting means 1 which detects interruption or end of copying, a voice generator 15 which generates a voice message corresponding to interruption or end of copying, and a network controller 14 which is connected to the telephone line and calls a telephone in accordance with the telephone number stored in the memory at the time of detecting interruption or end of copying and sends the voice message from the voice generator are provided. If abnormality occurs in the copying machine or copying is terminated, the telephone of the preliminarily set telephone number is called by the network controller. The voice message corresponding to the occurrence of abnormality or the end of copying is transmitted from the voice generator to the user, which is away from the copying machine, with a voice through the telephone line. |
