<p>PURPOSE:To provide the title compsn. which emits sharp fluorescence specific to a rare earth element, is crystal-clear in the region of visible light and has excellent weather resistance, containing a fluorinated beta-diketone/alkyl phosphate complex coordinated with Eu and/or Tb. CONSTITUTION:A pH buffer soln. is added to an aq. soln. contg. europium chloride and/or terbium chloride to adjust the pH to 5-6. A cyclohexane soln. contg. a fluorinated beta-diketone (e.g., hexafluoroacetylacetone) and an alkyl phosphate (e.g., trimethyl phosphate) is added thereto. The mixture is mixed and then allowed to stand. An org. phase is recovered and cyclohexane is distilled off in a vacuum to obtain a fluorinated beta-diketone/alkyl phosphate complex (A) coordinated with Eu and/or Tb. 0.05-10wt% component A is dissolved in a solvent (B) (e.g., thinner).</p> |
