PURPOSE:To attain excellent position control by determining the width of an electrification control pattern and an interval between the pattern and its adjacent position stopping pattern on the basis of relation between the moving distance of a movable member while electrifying a driving means and an idle moving distance obtained after disconnecting electrification. CONSTITUTION:When the movable member positioned on a stop position pattern P1 is to be moved to a stop position pattern P2 corresponding to the next stopping position, a high level control signal is applied to a motor driver circuit during time t1 at first. Consequently, the member 4 is moved only by a distance l1 in accordance with the driving force of a motor. When the control signal is immediately reversed [the timing is detected by the gap of an electrification control pattern (p)] and the member is moved without load by intertia energy and stopped on a stop position pattern P2 to be an objective position.
