<p>An apparatus for the thermal treatment of liquids packed in plastic bags includes a treatment chamber having an endless conveyor. The apparatus further includes through-shaped carriers (14), attachable to the endless conveyor, for receiving, transporting and discharging the plastic bags. Each carrier is constructed from three separate parts: two bases (15) each with a W-shaped cross section and a sidewall (16) with a U-shaped cross section. During operation of the apparatus, an opening (17) of the carrier (14) is parallel to the plane of the endless conveyor.</p> |
