PURPOSE:To enable a non-consumption part to be prevented from damage before its occurrence, by adjusting the operation of a clutch pedal to be felt heavy so as to enable an extent of wearing to be sensed by the driver if the wearing of a clutch disc advances to approach its limit of use. CONSTITUTION:When a clutch is released under the condition that the wearing of a clutch disc is less than a prescribed value, the actuating stroke SL=D<2>1/ D<2>2.SM of a release piston 24 in diameter of D2>D1 is smaller than the effective actuating stroke SM of a master cylinder piston 23 in diameter of D1, providing an input F1=D<2>1/D<2>2.FO of the piston 23 for an output FO of the piston 24. On the contrary, if the wearing reaches the prescribed value, an adapted distance between the both pistons becomes zero, and the piston 23 is adapted to the piston 24, providing the relation, where F1=FO, thus increasing the depressing force of a clutch pedal required for releasing the clutch. Accordingly, the wearing of the clutch disc reaching the prescribed value can be sensed by the driver when he heavily feels the operation of the clutch pedal. |
