PURPOSE:To obtain high image density from a digital latent image by incorporating fine silicic acid powder subjected to prescribed treatment into a dry toner contg. a specified compd. and a required dye. CONSTITUTION:Fine silicic acid powder treated successively with a silane coupling agent and silicone oil is incorporated into a dry toner for electrophotography contg. a binding resin, a metallic complex compd. of arom. hydroxycarboxylic acid having a lipophilic group and a metallic complex salt type monoazo dye having a hydrophilic group. When a digital latent image is developed, fogging and the scattering of the toner to the periphery of the edge of the latent image are not caused and high image density is obtd. |
