PURPOSE:To eliminate the waste of the processing resources and to shorten the translating time by producing an object with the translation processing given only to a relative part of update from a program data base via a subject access means for the information obtained a preceding translation mode when an update version of the source program is translated. CONSTITUTION:When a newly produced source program is translated, the program structure, the data structure and the relative information between a program and data that are recognized in a translation process of the source program are stored in the program data base 7 under the control of each part performed by a control means 2-1 of a change monitor means 2. When the source program obtained by changing partly the original source program is translated, just a range receiving the influence by the source update recognized by an influence range recognizing means 4 is translated for production of an object. When a source program partly updated is translated, it is just required to translate only a range which is affected by the change. Thus the translation processing is attained with high performance.
