PURPOSE:To improve the optical transmittance of a sheet in the production of a glare preventing sheet by cutting a belt-shaped compound laminated film having a predetermined width, which is produced by coating a heat-sensitive adhesive on one or both sides of a transparent base film, to a desired shape from its wound end. CONSTITUTION:A layer 2 of a controlling material for transmission of light is superposed on one side of a transparent film base 1, and one or both sides of said transparent film base is coated with a heat-sensitive adhesive 3. Obtd. compound film is formed to a belt having a predetermined width and wound up to form a roll having a polygonal sectional shape. After heating the wound film to adhere the interlayer of the compound film, then the film is cut into a desired shape from its wound end. The transparent base film has 1-2,000mum thickness, and the layer for controlling transmission of light has 0.001-200mum thickness obtd. by using an ink layer or evaporated metal layer such as Al, having below 85% mean transmittance for light in the visible region. By this constitution, the light transmittance and the heat resistance are improved.
