PURPOSE:To reduce the installation area and shorten the processing time by longitudinally traveling a traveling frame along a processing tank and transversely traveling a transverse traveling board on the traveling frame and suspending a barrel in free elevation onto the transverse traveling board, in the transport device for the barrels, etc., for plating equipment, etc. CONSTITUTION:A traveling frame 3 is shifted forth and back on a processing tank 1 through a trailing rail 9 by the revolution of a traveling wheel 4 by a traveling motor not shown in the figure. When a gear 15 for transverse traveling is revolved by a motor 14 for transverse traveling, a transverse traveling board 12 is shifted right and left on the processing tank 1 through the rail for transverse traveling by a chain 16. Further, an elevator hanger 17 is raised and lowered, guided by a guide 26, by an elevator motor 8 instal led onto the transverse traveling board 12, and a barrel suspended onto the banger 17 is raised and lowered. with such constitution, the barrel is shifted to a desired position by driving a traveling frame, transverse traveling board, and an elevator in combination. Therefore, the installation area can be reduced, and the processing time can be shortened.
