PURPOSE:To prevent the stain of an image supporting material and the unnecessary consumption of an offset preventing liquid by abutting an offset preventing liquid coating means and a coating quantity prescribing means in order against the peripheral surface of a fixing roll from the position except the top part in the rotational direction to the position of a pressure roll. CONSTITUTION:An offset preventing liquid coating means 28 which supplies and coats the offset preventing liquid and a prescribed means 31 which prescribes the quantity of coating liquid are abutted in order against the peripheral surface of a fixing roll 21, which is heated by a heating means 27, from the position except a top peripheral surface part A in the rotational direction to the position of a supporting material clipping part B. Therefore, the proper quantity of the offset preventing liquid is always uniformly coated on the peripheral surface of the fixing roll 21 at the time of rotation of the fixing roll 21, namely, fixing, and the offset preventing liquid oozed and flowed out through the coating means 28 always flows out toward the prescribed means 31 at the time of non-rotation of the fixing roll 21, namely, stopping or holding a device and the prescribing means 31 dams up the flowed-out offset preventing liquid to recover it into an offset preventing liquid storage tank 30, thus preventing the stain of a supporting material 32 and the whole of the device due to the offset preventing liquid and the unnecessary consumption of the offset preventing liquid. |
