PURPOSE:To enable disposal of industrial waste by incineration without producing black smoke or much soot, by slowly incinerating the waste in an incinerator, taking much time, after letting a combustible powdery absorber absorb the industrial waste containing thermex and drying it. CONSTITUTION:A muddy oil sludge 5 is made by letting a sawdust 3 in a can 4 absorb a waste oil 1 containing ceramics. Then the oil sludge 5 is pretreated by drying it by a heater 5. The oil sludge 5 is laid on a tray 7 for a predetermined time, and during this time most of volatile portions and oily portions are removed and the sludge 5 is dried. The dried sludge 5 is packed in the can 4 again and the can is brought into a side combustion chamber 11 for exclusive use of thermex in an incinerator 10. When common combustible matter is thrown into the incinerator 10 and is incinerated in a combustion chamber 12, the side combustion chamber 11 which communicates with the combustion chamber 12 gets into high temperature as the temperature inside the combustion chamber 12 increases. Then the dried sludge 5 in the can 4 is ignited from the top of it, starting burning. Because the oil sludge 5 is dried enough by a previous treatment, black smoke or soot will not be produced at the time of incineration.
