PURPOSE:To install a toner replenishing means without providing a new arrangement space and a driving source, by constituting the titled device so that a rotary shaft of a toner carrying member and a driving shaft of a toner stirring member rotate on the same axis. CONSTITUTION:A toner of a main toner tank 2 adheres to a sponge roller 8 and a developing roller 6 and carried, formed to a thin layer shape by a blade 7, electrified, brought into contact with the surface of a photosensitive body 1, and converts an electrostatic latent image formed on the surface to a visible image. On the other hand, a toner stirring member 5 rotates through a driving gear 9a and a driving shaft 9 by a rotation of an input gear 11, and prevents a bridge formation of the toner by stirring the toner. In this case, when the quantity of the toner in the tank 2 becomes short and a resistance force which a screw 15 receives goes down, the rotary shaft 14 is displaced. As a result, a pin 14b of the rotary shaft 14 is engaged to a recessed part 9b of the driving shaft 9, the rotation of the driving shaft 9 is transmitted to the rotary shaft 14, a toner carrying member 13 rotates, and a toner in a sub-toner tank 3 is replenished to the tank 2 through a pipe 12 by the screw 15.
