CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive material contg. photosensitive silver halide, a coupler, a compd. represented by the formula and a slightly water soluble basic metallic compd. (a) is imagewise exposed and developed with a processing soln. contg. a complex forming compd. (b) which releases a base by a complex forming reaction with a metallic ion in the compd. (a). When zinc hydroxide is used as the compd. (a), sodium picolinate may be used as the compd. (b). In the formula, each of R1-R4 is H, halogen or the like, A is hydroxyl, a group providing hydroxyl by the action of a nucleophilic reagent or the like and R5 is aryl having optionally a substituent or a heterocyclic group. |
