<p>PURPOSE:To easily execute the operation and release of a brake in the course of a recording pause mode, by controlling the control mechanism of a reel base through three pieces of arms driven by a prescribed cam. CONSTITUTION:First and second arms 8a, 8b are provided freely turnably in a shape superposed at the upper and lower parts on the supporting shaft of a chassis 4, and driven by an cam gears 5a, 5b, respectively. Also, a third arm 9 abuts against the other end of the first and the second arms, and to constitute the brake mechanism of a reel base. In this state, when the brake operation is being released in a recording pause mode, when the arm 9 is moved against the spring force by the arm 8b, the brake operation can be set to an operating state from the release, and a tape added and racked to a cylinder can be carried without sagging it. Also, the brake can be released easily by releasing the arm 8b.</p> |
