PURPOSE:To reproduce discs on the whole racks by supporting the carrying and rotating means of the discs by a movable base and moving these means to required positions in a disc storing part. CONSTITUTION:When a required disc is specified, a rotary plate 19 is rotated, a specified case 1 is selected and a rack 3 is searched in accordance with a specification signal indicating the height position of the rack 3 of the required disc 2. Namely, the position of a reduction gear 87 of a reduction means 45 coupled with a motor 41 is detected by a position detector 88, a signal indicating the height of the movable base 33 is outputted and compared with the height of the specified rack 3 and then the movable base 33 is moved up to the position. When both positions coincide with each other, the motor 41 is stopped and the movable base 33 is fixed. In accordance with said coincidence signal, a carriage moving motor is excited and the carriage discharges the disc 2 from the case 1. |
