PURPOSE:To extend life by arranging a set of recording doe groups on both sides respectively and arrange the dot groups on a support provided with the function to select appropriately either the first status of using one of the recording dot groups, or the second status of using the other after rotation at 180 deg. as a constitutional design. CONSTITUTION:The first status is one in which a thermal head 15 is set to a support 23, and the second status is such that after rotation at 180 deg. from the first status, positioning dowels 26, 26 for the other positioning are inserted into respective positioning holes 15a, 15a and the thermal head 15 is mounted on the support 23. In the second status, it is also possible to overlap each electrode contact point on the electrode contact point 30b of each flexible printed substrate 30, and to arrange a recording dot group in a position where the previous dot group existed. Consequently, when one side of the recording dot group has become unusable from a natural cause, the other may be used after rotation at 180 deg. to ensure continued printing. |
