The rotary engine has two identical spiral elements. One is stationary, one movable, located inside each other, and staggered by 180deg. Both spiral elements have a corresponding external curved section (601) consisting of an involute curve; a radial internal curved section, consisting of an involute curve in an arc with a radius (R) and an arc with a radius (r), which connects the external curved section and the arc with the radius (R). The profile of the two spiral elements is shaped in accordance with a series of mathematical relationships.
