PURPOSE:To raise the heat exchanging efficiency with a compact construction by providing a partition band in spiral shape among fins of a heat exchanger provided in the central section of a centrifugal blower and piercing the fins with a heating medium pipe in a heat exchanger unit for an air conditioner. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanger unit for an air conditioner receives a centrifugal blower 2 at the central opening section of a heat exchanger 3 and has a plurality of fins 4 stacked in many layers through a partition band 13 which extends outwards spirally, and a plurality of heating medium tubes 5 are provided so as to pierce through the stack of the fins 4. The air discharged from the centrifugal blower 2 flows through a spiral wind passage 15 which is formed by the partition band 13 from the central section 11 to the outer periphery so that the air exchanges heat with a heat exchanging medium 10 which flows in the direction opposite to the air flow direction through the heating medium pipe 5 that is arranged along the wind passage 15 from the outer peripheral side to the central section side, and then the air is sent out from a discharge opening 14. The heat exchanger unit can thereby conduct heat exchange of high efficiency with a compact constitution. |
