摘要

To isomerise unbranched functionalised alkenes with a terminal carbon-carbon double bond while retaining the carbon structure, these alkenes are treated in the presence of rhodium(III) or iridium(III) compounds at temperatures of 70 to 160 DEG C. Functionalised compounds with terminal double bonds employed are alpha-omega-alkenols and their esters, or alpha-omega-alkenecarboxylic acids and their esters, and as rhodium(III) compounds preferably rhodium(III) halides, in particular rhodium(III) chloride hydrate. The reaction products contain the carbon-carbon double bond unconjugated to the functional group.
