The subject of this invention is an actuator with a vertical axle that is used to surface aerate fluids, where the aerator wheel axle, which is at the same time the actuator (1) axle, is separated from wheel axle and drive axle, which are connected by a toothed coupling (3, 4). In order to prolong the lifetime of these teeth, the teeth are made drum-shaped. Because of the drum-shaped teething, the drive axle can transmit the torque of the wheel axle in such a way that the forces caused by bending the wheel axle cannot be transferred to the drive axle, whereby the taciturnity of the drive axle can be sized according to the values presented in the professional literature. The bearings of the wheel axle through the abovementioned way of making the bending possible, forms the essential part of the apparatus described in this invention.<IMAGE>
