PURPOSE:To obtain an organic fiber composite material excellent in thermal conversion efficiency of light, by constituting the above of a thermally sprayed material containing carbon, graphite, black metal compound, black pigments, etc., and a fibrous structure composed principally of organic fiber having a melting point lower than those of the above materials. CONSTITUTION:The organic fiber composite material consists of the thermally sprayed material containing one or more substances among carbon, graphite, black metal compounds, and black pigments and the fibrous structure composed principally of organic fiber having a melting point lower than those of the above black substances such as carbon, etc., and it has a capacity for efficiently converting light such as the sunlight, etc., to heat. The above-mentioned organic fiber composite material can be obtained by introducing a powdery thermal spraying material containing the above black substances and, if necessary, binder components such as Ni, Co, Al2O3, etc., into a plasma jet, by carrying out thermal spraying of the above onto the fibrous structure prepared by forming organic fibers into sheet-like state,and then by subjecting the resulting thermally sprayed formed body to rapid cooling without delay. |
