JIG FOR BAKING ELECTRONIC PARTS

PURPOSE:To provide a baking jig having high thermal shock resistance and causing no reaction with electronic parts to be baked by spraying alumina powder on an alumina-silica substrate having a specified composition. CONSTITUTION:The surface of an alumina-silica substrate having 60-95% Al2O3 content is coated with alumina powder of <=about 150mum particle size by water plasma spraying or other method to form a sprayed layer of about 0.1-3mm thickness. The resulting jig for baking electronic parts does not react with the parts to be baked and can give baked products having desired characteristics. The jig can withstand repeated use.
