PURPOSE:To efficiently operate the whole warehouse system and minimize the human intervention by providing a means recording the warehousing/delivery frequency and a means determining shelf positions for delivery with the mini mum warehousing/delivery frequency. CONSTITUTION:A host computer 10 contains an automatic warehouse system 12, a deposit/delivery system 13, etc., and is connected to the on-line terminal equipment 10 and an automatic warehouse system controller 30 controlling multiple warehouses 40. The on-line terminal equipment 20 enters the codes of deposit goods into the warehouses 40 to the host computer 10. The host computer 10 determines storage shelf positions based on a warehouse shelf assigning device 11, the automatic warehouse system 12, and the warehousing/ delivery system 13. These determined shelf positions are informed to the auto matic warehouse system controller 30, and containers are automatically conveyed to the deposit positions of the warehouse 40. |
