PURPOSE:To permit the installation of a ventilator by providing a wall in a room with an air feeding and discharging grille simply, by a method wherein a heat exchanging unit, which effects heat exchange between discharging air stream and supplying air stream, a small diametral sound-damping duct of a bellows type, which is wound with a sound-damping material on the outer periphery thereof, and an air feeding and discharging box, embedded into the wall, are provided in the title ventilator. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanging unit 1 is provided in a garret 2 and one end of a small diametral sound-damping duct 4 of a bellows type, which is wound with a sound-damping material 3 on the outer periphery thereof, is connected to an indoor air suction port and an outdoor air discharging port while a sound-damping duct 4 is arranged in the garret 2 and a wall 5 and is connected to an air feeding and discharging box 7. When the heat exchanging unit 1 is operated, indoor air is discharged to the outside of a room through the discharging port of an air feeding and discharging grille 8, the sound-damping duct 4 and the air discharging flow passageway of the heat exchanging unit 1 while the heat of atmosphere is exchanged with the discharging air stream during passing through the air feeding flow passageway and the heat exchanger and, then, atmosphere is dispersed from an air feeding port for the air feeding and discharging grille 8 into a room through the sound-damping duct 4. |
