<p>PURPOSE:To enable a friction material bonded to the attraction surface of an electromagnetic clutch device to sufficiently exercise the durability inherent in the friction material by placing a friction material so that it is unlikely for the friction material to be shaved by the edge of a hole provided in an armature or a driver therein. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic clutch device is enabled to transmit power in such a manner that a magnetic flux generated through electrifying a coil incorporated in a driver, which is not illustrated by a diagram, causes an armature 15 to be attracted against the force of a leaf spring, and a non-magnetic friction material 30 provided on its attraction surface 15a is pressed into contact with the attraction surface of the driver. In this case, on the attraction surface 15a of the armature 15 are provided a plurality of through holes 15b for fixing the outer edge of the leaf spring in such a manner that they are located on the same circumferential plane at every equal angle. And then, the non-magnetic friction material 30 formed into a circular-arc shape is bonded between adjacent through holes 15b in the circumferential direction. Hereby, the possibility that the friction material 30 is shaved by the through holes 15b can be precluded so as to improve the durability thereof.</p> |
