PURPOSE:To obtain a developer which is stable in the quantity of frictional electrostatic charge and has the sharp and uniform distribution thereof by incorporating the diorganotin borate formed by the reaction of a diorganotin compd. and boric acid compd. in the process of melting and mixing with a binder resin into the developer and incorporating at least the binder resin and coloring agent therein. CONSTITUTION:This toner contains the diorganotin borate obtd. by bringing the diorganotin compd. and boric acid compd. into reaction at the time of melting and kneading with the binder resin, the binder resin and the coloring agent as essential components. The ratio of the amt. of the diorganotin compd. and boric acid compd. to be added is preferably 10/1-1/10, more preferably 5/1-1/5 molar ratio of the diorganotin compd./boric acid compd. Any dye pigments such as carbon black, ultramarine, nigrosine dye, aniline blue, monoazo and bisazo dye pigments are usable alone or in combination as the coloring agent to be used. Binder resins for ordinary toner are used as the binder resin. |
