PURPOSE:To enable a mirror main body to be smoothly and stably supported by fixing a circular plate made of a hard metal on the upper surface of a stay base whereby providing steel balls at equal intervals between said circular plate and the bottom of the stay of the mirror main body in such a way as to creep into the bottom of the stay to a predetermined depth. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical concave section 5 provided to the stay (b) of a door mirror A is coupled with a stay base (c) having a cylindrical section 4 equipped with a penetrating hole 2 at the center of an end plate section 3, thereby inserting a cylindrical shaft 7 into the cylindrical section 4 through the penetrating hole 2. And a coil spring 9 is provided between a flange section 8 at the lower end of the cylindrical shaft 7 and the inside of the cylindrical section 4. And furthermore, an end plate section 11, on the upper surface of which a circular plate 12 made of a hard metal is fixed, is provided at the top of the cylindrical section 4. And several steel balls (d) are provided at equal intervals between the bottom 6 of the concave section 5 and the circular plate 12. Said ball (d) is designed to creep into the bottom 6 of the concave section 5 deeply more than the radius (r) of the ball (d) whereby engaging holes 15 are formed at equal intervals same as that of the ball (d) on the circular plate 12. |
