PURPOSE:To attenuate collector noise, by organizing the slider unit of a pantograph, with light-weight metal-foamed substance having sound-absorbing property, rigidity, and durability. CONSTITUTION:On the front and rear upper-frame pipes 1 of a pantograph frame, a balance 3 is held by a ceiling pipe 2. The balance 3 is kept to be always horizontal by a link mechanism. At both the tips of the arms of both the ends of the balance 3, oscillation-proof rubbers 5 are fitted, and by supporting a pantograph unit with the oscillation-proof rubbers 5 elastically, the following-up property of sliders 8 against a stringing 9 is improved. A main pantograph-unit is composed of light-weight foamed-aluminum material having sound-absorbing property, rigidity, and durability, and is of a frame-formed rectangular plate with a tag-formed notch on the central section, and two slider unit sections 6 wider than the sliders 8 are integrated with two connecting frame sections 7 for connecting both the ends of the sections 6, 7 to each other.
