This method consists in producing a basic one-piece pattern, that is to say in which the various pieces are arranged in an adjacent manner, in their position of assembly on the garment, by firstly tracing the basic-pattern quarter delimited, particularly, by a line 2 corresponding to the centre-front or centre-back line of the garment, called "body-centre line", and by a second line 3 intersecting the first line and corresponding to the line of inclination of the slope of the shoulder, called "median line", by producing a line which is symmetrical with respect to the median line, making it possible to obtain a basic half-pattern.
