PURPOSE:To perform a high-speed and reliable auto-focusing operation aiming at the regular focusing position of an optical system element as a target value, by providing the 2nd motor driving system. CONSTITUTION:A focusing position storing means 104 which stores the output signal of an optical system element position detecting means 103 at the moment when a focusing detect signal is issued and the 2nd motor driving system 107 which dominantly drives a motor M by using the difference value between the output of the detecting means 103 and storing means 104, are provided. Switching between the 1st and 2nd motor driving systems 106 and 107 is performed by a drive switching means 105 so that the motor can be driven by the 1st motor driving system 106 before a focused moment detecting signal is issued and by the 2nd motor driving system 107 after the focused moment detecting signal is issued. |
