<p>The process consists of (a) total evacuation of the system or stretch of the system to be sealed; (b) injecting into the whole length a soln. of super-polymer plastics of high mol.wt. and lasting elasticity, a solvent and pigments, under pressure of around 5 bar for around 30 mins. with the help of a compressor, which forms a solid film on the internal wall; (c) purging excess soln. from the system; and (d) testing the sealing obtd., by use of suitable control equipment.</p> |
