PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of work for adhering a printing plate with high accuracy, by drawing first and second reference lines to the surface of an endless film and mounting the printing plate to which an adhesive means is applied at the position on a substrate demarcated by a third reference line and a lateral reference line in a turn-out state. CONSTITUTION:A pen 52 is allowed to fall on an endless film 33 and a first reference line L1 crossing the center line C of the endless film 33 is drawn on the endless film 33 and a second reference line L2 being a parallel line spaced apart by a distance alpha from the center line C is drawn on the endless film 33. A third reference line L3 drawn on a substrate 9 at the lower position thereof is moved by a required dimension alpha in parallel to the vertical base line X on the substrate 9 and the first reference line L1 is arranged in the direction vertical to the lateral base line Y on the surface of the substrate 9. The substrate 9 is raised toward the endless film 33 in parallel to said film 33 and the back surface of the printing plate 68 mounted on the substrate 9 in a turn-out state is contacted with the endless film 33 through an adhesive tape 69. A plate cylinder 11 is rotated to move the endless film 33 and the substrate 9 is moved in synchronous relation to the movement of the endless film 33 to adhere the printing plate 68 to the predetermined position of the endless film 33.
