PURPOSE:To measure spatial electric field distribution on the surface of an object by using an array of radio wave absorber cells covered with a magnetic material, consists of plural groups of cells with different antenna lengths, and a radio wave lens, and measuring an output voltage of each cell by varying a DC magnetic field which is applied to each cell. CONSTITUTION:A radio wave lens 6 focuses a radio wave on a radio wave absorber cell array 18. The array 18 is constituted by providing cells 22 for forming plural groups 23 having different antenna length in a ferromagnetic material, and generates a voltage corresponding to an intensity of an electric field of a frequency corresponding to the antenna length and the magnetic permeability. A switching part 3 connects successively each cell of the array 18, based on timing supplied from an external synchronizing circuit through a timing supply cable 20, and outputs a generated voltage by using a voltage output cable 19. When measurement of electric field distribution of (n) kinds of frequencies is completed, a position of a magnet 15 is adjusted by using a position adjusting screw 21, and a measuring frequency is determined by changing a magnetic field applied to the cell. Thereafter, this procedure is repeated, and the space electric field distribution of a frequency corresponding to the magnetic permeability of the surface of an object and the antenna length is measured.
