<p>PURPOSE:To enable the rapid finding of a failure, and labor saving in the maintenance of a mechanical device, by performing a failure diagnosis through the transient response of a set speed, when the position, the speed, etc., of the mechanical device on the line of a rolling, a working, or a processing, etc., is set. CONSTITUTION:A relation 9 between the moving quantity, and the response time of each mechanical device 1 on a driving process in a working line, is found, and it is stored in a diagnostic storage device 8. Next, a corresponding data in the past stored in the storage device 8 is read out to compare the data in the past with the stored data of the relation between a found moving quantity and response time, and it is decided that the difference of a response time to a prescribed moving quantity is large or small. At such a time, when the failure of a mechanical system, or a trouble in an electrical system, is generated, and the difference of the response time to the prescribed moving quantity, becomes larger than a prescribed value set in advance, a classification for abnormal division is performed on the basis of the moving quantity, then it is displayed to the outside, and an alarm is issued.</p> |
