PURPOSE:To decrease a work time required for a maintenance and a support of a data base, by setting only an on-line journal to which a flag of a fact of the first updating is set, as an object, at the time of restoring the data base. CONSTITUTION:When an updating request of a data base record 22 is generated in the course of an on-line operation, the record 22 sets a flag of a fact of the first updating, together with information before and after the updating because it is the first updating, writes data base updating information 12 in an on-line journal 11 and updates the record 22. When the updating request of the record 22 is generated again, a flag of a fact of the second updating and thereafter is set together with the information after the updating and updating information 15 is obtained. At the time of a data base restoration processing after the end of on-line, when the journal detects read information 12, a flag of updating information is decided and the information before the updating is written in the record 22 of a data base 21, and the data base is restored to the original state. |
