This invention relates to a degreasing and corrosion-prevention agent for metals, metal parts and metal products which consists of certain amounts by weight of phosphoric acid, zinc phosphate, at least one polymer or polymer mixture and/or suitable amounts by weight of a reaction product formed with one or more of the components, preferably a reaction product formed with phosphoric acid or phosphate ions, water, preferably deionized water, and at least one aliphatic alcohol and at least one further nonpolar and/or aromatic solvent and/or at least one polar and/or aliphatic solvent. The invention furthermore relates to a method of producing the degreasing and corrosion-prevention agent and to a method which uses the agent to degrease metals, metal parts and metal products and to give them a corrosion-prevention treatment at the same time.
